The Elmo Hope Sextet (first section) is really great--thanks! Hadn't heard this one before. I like how Coltrane and Mobley 'meet in the middle' and don't step on each other. Good stuff. I didn't really hear a connection between those two before but on this date you can hear an influence on each other's playing. Nice!
